An easy level walk along the banks of the Spey and its tributary the Calder.
Good views of the surrounding landscape acroos the town of Newtonmore to Creag Dubh and the Monadhliath.
Ducks and other water birds can be encountered on this stretch of the Trail which is also a popular spot with local fisherman.
The trail continues by the Spey until it is joine by the River Calder. Where the Trail meets the Laggan Road (A86) at the Calder bridgeyou can either return to the village via the road, or cross Laggan road to continue the Trail following the bank of the Calder. - Go to Next Section
