A walk through new plantations of trees bordering moorland on the edge of the Monadhliath. Mountain views in all directions.
For a century or more this area has been crofting land. The moor is the common grazing for the crofters' sheep and cattle, with the estate retaining the sporting rights. In the past there were turf and stone croft homes and a mill, with corn and limekilns here

See the remains of a clearly defined Pictish stone circle - the remains of the foundations of a dwelling place consisting of a low wall of stones with wooden poles forming a conical roof with an opening for smoke to escape.
The trail then continues acrioss a bridge over a stream to join the Allt Laraidh section of the trail - Go to Next Section
